Photographs and documents

The LZC Media Library’s resources include digital copies of several thousand archival materials made available by the inhabitants of Białystok and Podlachia. Mostly they are photographs from home archives, documenting everyday life and changes taking place in the immediate surroundings. These materials concern the period from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century.

The archives create a Białystok civic and social album that would not have been possible without the openness of the people.
